In memorium

In honor of the service of Major Brad Funk and Lt Alec Littler

"High Flight" by John Gillespie Magee Jr.
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of—wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there,
I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air....
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark nor even eagle flew—
And, while with silent lifting mind I’ve trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

Keith,

I am sorry for your loss. I don't know how close you were to these men, but I know that you and the entire group must be hurting. I miss you greatly and pray that God would comfort you and allow you opportunity to comfort those around you.

Love
Steve Pickle

Keith,

I want to express my appreciation to you for the beautiful tribute you posted. Brad Funk is my brother, and it is comforting to see ways in which others have chosen to honor his memory and the memory of Alec Littler.

Thank you,
Amber Park
