This leads to the most uncomfortable question, how many anymore really want a best friend?
"Faithful are the wounds of a friend; profuse are the kisses of an enemy." ~ Solomon (Proverbs 27:6)
"I have called you friends." ~ Jesus (John 15:15b)

I can honestly say that I would want a best friend and I have one. My wife is that to me. She will let me know when I need correction, as well as I will let her know. We try to do that with the best intentions and in a nice way. Sometimes it doesn't always turn out that way, but we understand each other better and I think that everyone needs a best friend. One that will be honest with them and let them know what they need.
Thanks for the post. I think it is what we all need.
